Great Plains Growers Conference |

|
| When the Great Plains Vegetable Growers Conference was started in 1996, it was designed to be the annual meeting of three state vegetable growers associations - Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska. Since state university extension vegetable specialists serve on the grower's association boards, they were charged with organizing this conference. While Iowa's Vegetable Grower's Association kept their annual meeting separate, the state specialist from there became involved with the conference. In 2000, the South Dakota State University vegetable specialist was invited to be involved in the conference. In 2010, committee members were approached by the Mid-America Fruit Growers conference organizers to try a joint conference venture. Hence, the new name and logo for the 2011 conference. We hope you enjoy the new program! | |
